		<description>we should commend karim rashid who has built his name on the brute self promotion of a promising &quot;democratic&quot; philosophy leading to the success of his super-hit trash can, &quot;garbo&quot; a decade ago; but at this point in his career it is unfortunate that companies are being seduced by a puffed up name rather than true substance.  in the design world, rashid is now regarded to be a mediocre designer at best, more self conscious about flaunting his camera image rather than creating sophisticated and significant designs.  goes to show that even trash cans, chess sets, and door jambs can continue to pump one&#039;s head full of false legacies...</description>
