Full Circle by Expand Design

Full Circle is a multi-user design with a sweeping form that explores the space between two common chairs. A central mane bifurcates into a sensuous back support that re-embraces the overall form and consequently generates a flow between seat and bulbous base. A new typology
emerges in the round that arouses curiosities and invites multiple modes of habitation as an abstracted daybed or bench.

About Expand Design Ltd
Expand Design Ltd is a collective of architects and art historians that engages in the fields of architecture, planning and furniture design. By exploring the correlation between history, base materials and opportunities presented by state-of-the-art fabrication techniques, XP& unearths unidentified typologies that are inspired by the past, grounded in the present, and on a journey to a new aesthetic domain. The XP& Team consists of  Ifeanyi Oganwu, Alyssa Hathaway, and Justin Nardone.
