Yu Tsai, photographer

Yu Tsai has found inspiration in his multi-cultural background and his travels to Africa, Europe, Mexico and the United States. While studying at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Yu Tsai found his passion for directing, photography and design.

He offers clients a tangible, visible sense of their creative vision of a photograph, commercial or film. Yu Tsai has collaborated with commercial directors in treatment-writing and script development, and draws upon his expertise in the fields of design, color and post production.

This broad-based understanding of film and fine arts contributes to Yu Tsai’s singular perspective and signature photography and directing style. Yu Tsai has had the opportunity to work with celebrities such as Rosario Dawson, Sean Farris, Zooey Deschanel, Ryan Reynolds and models like Liliana Dominguez, Alessandra Ambrosio and Yamila Diaz.

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Yu Tsai has partecipated in wildlife-conservation research with the National Geographic Research Group. He lives in Los Angeles and New York.
