Paola Frani F/W ’09-’10

Milan Paola Frani sends off the fall 2009/2010 collection to a hard-hitting unconventional beat that goes perfectly in harmony with the latest creations. It is hard to pin point one specific characteristic in the collection but it goes without saying that it is mainly consisting of extraordinary pieces of clothing that goes in the line of metallic-chic style accessorized with small details of fur and or paillette. The models are strutting down the runway wearing laced up shoes and a mixture of hard rock chic clothing and the sweet femininity of the classical woman.

Tunics and dresses made from velvet jersey with metal decorations and focus on the waist. Draped high waisted skirts, boleros, spencer jackets all come in variations of color and altered with different accessories in fur or metal. Playing with colors, genres of materials and the selection of matching pieces and accessories together; gives an edge to classically tailored jumpsuits, micro jackets and tapered pants in silk appearing in different dark shades but also exposing flashes of color in turquoise and peacock green and occasionally highlighted with a touch of bronze, gold, silver and bronzed metal.

Classical but edgy, metal belts with studs hugging the waist mixed with light dresses in soft fabrics, transparent tops and high-waist trousers creates the Paola Frani mood this season.
