Milan Neon backlights against a blackest-black backdrop, rounds up Versace’s colour palette for autumn/winter 09/10. The collection starts of hesitantly with black embroidered numbers, accentuated high waist line, raw silk effects, and sequins, while gradually growing bolder with; big futuristic collars, plastic palliates, and metal pieces holding together the signature goddess like chiffon dresses.

Whether the dresses are maxi, mini or midi, in length, the common factor is success; with a focus on deep v-neck cleavage, open and decorated backs, asymmetrical cuts, and the one shoulder sequined straps. Donatella Versace has reached new elevations.

Other highlights are the combination of these slinky silhouettes with bolder designs; such as the chunks of silver, plateau-killer heels and edgy biker jackets. This collection is not for the fainthearted, but for the top girls that confidently parades the catwalk. Overall, the impression is a shimmy, shine, glam, in exquisite class, in other words, it is Versace.
