Samsonite Black Label by Viktor & Rolf

Dutch duo designers Viktor & Rolf is designing a new range of suitcases, bags and travel accessories for Samsonite’s luxurious Black Label. And following in the steps of Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson, the designers surly delivers. The range are inspired by 50’s and 60’s style with jet-setting  in focus. Bows, oversized hardware and retro-style airplanes are very playful yet stylish.

The bags brings us back to the golden age of traveling when flying was filled with optimism and cheerfulness. When traveling and flying in particular only was for the very rich. An era so far away from those hideous sweatpants you see people wearing at the airports today.

The mix of high-fashion and real quality bags at its best. The bags will be exclusively launched at Colette in Paris the 10th of february. And the fashion-conscious crowd is already yearning over them. Make sure your tickets are booked if you don’t want to miss out.
