Designers Remix collection was a happy and sparkling variation of fun and girly fashion. The models could have been dressed up ready to go to a ball. The clothes was all about a treasured Danish vibe and Charlotte Eskildsen’s desire to create feminine and characteristic designs to beautiful, sophisticated and positive women, who dare to be different. The collection continues on the path between femininity and androgynous tailoring creating the ambiguous atmosphere, which is characteristic of the designer Charlotte Eskildsen. The collection was essentially based around the same template of short dresses and neat little suits. The designer is really proving that she is capable of building a brand.

The clothes felt very Designer’s remix. There’s value for money in each of her outfits, from all the patch-working of contrasting fabric thats go on into one single piece. The sense of continuity shows an impressive business focus. So let’s get down to the part that didn’t impress me as much. Let’s call it the inspiration of other designers, but when it actually get down to it: It was a pure copy of the much talked about Christopher Kane dress that was shown on the catwalk last night. Even more surprised when a Nina Ricci lookalike dress showed up. I love the designers work and think to copy other fellow designers work was very poor. Didn’t they think we wold notice. And I do hope the designer makes sure the models does have shoes in their right size the next time. It did look ridiculous when the struggling models was doing their best to not fall and it did take focus away from the clothes every now and then
