Angelo Marani s/s 2010

Angelo Marani’s spring/summer 2010 show was all about sexy and being beautiful with a soul. Being glamorous but still body conscious was an important part of it. The models really had energy and that really did a great part of the show. Even the clothes had energy and as we were told in the press release, our memories did get back to the disco time of Ibiza in the 80’s. Very colourful, sexy, with lots of legs or lots of just everything. This clothes aren’t made for women who want to stay in the background, they’re for the opposite. Pre-washed denim shorts with crystals, micro-printed  sequins, and smooth tunic dresses in jersey.

Draped details, saturated colours dyed in royal blue, emerald green, citron yellow and cherry red. The gold and silver or black and white is what this kind of women is all about. If I will notice That lady in a gold biker jacket? Yes. If I will like it, that’s a whole different story. I didn’t fell for it to be honest, even if I did feel the strong powerful and personality behind the ones who dare to wear Maran’s clothes. Over-sized sweatshirts was anther chapter of the story that we can call fierce and strong. It’s for the proud ones, the ones who want to be noticed. What I loved most of this collections was the caftans and the timeless elegance they bring. They came in both short and long and in white with tropical prints to just bring out that last bit of jet-set we all have in us.
