Blugirl’s spring/summer 2010 collection contained fluid and unconstructed silhouettes and alternations of proportions. Trousers was wide at the hips and narrow at the hem instead of the traditional opposite. Silk chemises and knits had super-fine textures and romantic drapes and ruffles. The daywear was all about suits, but in a mini-version: to be worn with a tee or a maxi-dress to once again break the rules and obey from the tradition. Flashes of colors, eccentric elegance and couture details gave the collection a nice lift.

One-shoulder minidresses in leopard taffeta gave us a quick reminder of that we’re actually in Milan Fashion week, the city where ppl adores leopard prints more than any other place in the world. This time, the dresses and shirts are in green and orange chiffon leopard print, to give their favourite pattern a face-lift. Balloon sleeves and flounces was seen on the cocktail dresses. The blue matched together with embroidery and macro sequins was a lovely scene. And to not forget to mention the best part of the show, the sculpture bustier dresses and skirts with stylized 3D flowers to create an all-over organza of taffeta flowers. Really beautiful and as fresh a spring morning. Can’t wait to try it on when out in stores.
