RoccoBarocco s/s 2010
Let’s say that we can divide the RoccoBarocco s/s 2010 show into three parts. The crazy colourful one, the sober one and the last and most sparkly one. The show started, let’s say crazy, even though I was surprised in a good way. The show went on to a more sober feeling with natural and nude shades combined with easy and clean cuts. Not overdoing it and almost classic in a way. Love that part. The last minutes of the show presented us with more glitter and it was all about the see-through blouses in sheer materials.
The decorative was the trumpet details (very much Balmain), but instead of cool and fierce metallic, they went with glitter instead. A little bit more cute girly. So in a way, it was the Italian translation of what once was a very serious army uniform. Loved that they could play around with it in such way. An overall good show, but still far away from great. I want to see more fierceness on the catwalk and the risky part was kind of missing.
