N°21 Fall 2010 Milan
After taking a season off, the awaited Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s come-back debuted with his new brand: N°21. The venue was crowded with famous editors, press and fashion insiders, all thrilled for the return of one of the most influential Italian fashion designers. The collection showed mostly daywear with a nice twist of masculinity and a great feeling for cuts and details.
After all the fur, leather and animal prints shown in all the other shows of the week, it was so refreshing to see something as crisp and clean as N° 21. The collection got more high-fashion when spruced up with fuchsia and emerald strokes, biker jackets and refined animal prints. A personal favorite were the camel pants and the flowing feathers in the back of the top and dress closing the show. The interesting end to a great show.
