Spring Couture 2010: Elie Saab
True to character at Elie Saab in Paris. This season Elie Saab moved into dusty shades for his spring/summer 2010 haute couture collection. Never being short of glamour Saab introduced more a subtle and whimsical palette then usual.
His opening look seemed reminiscent of a fairytale prom dress, but what followed surely took our minds far from the initial reaction. Beautifully embroidered chiffon and lace were strong components in this muted elegance, a personal favourite were the high slit evening gowns leaving little to the imagination.
Not forgetting above the knee frocks, Saab showed wonderfully feminine and luxurious mini dresses with the opulence you can only expect from a Couturier such as this.
