The Row fall 2010 New York

I’m a huge fan of The Row, the only “celebrity line” even worth keeping your eye on. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen doesn’t only have a great sense of style, but they are also incredible designers. Many ppl won’t agree with me simply because they don’t deliver eye-catching collections or anything ground-breaking. I love their line because I think they create the ultimate stylish basic pieces. They truly and fully understand the need of clothes in black, white and grey that will have that perfect fit, cut, simpleness that will work for years. The clothes are for me not simple clothes because they always have a advanced twist to it. An extra detail or a special cut that I fall in love with.

And what more can or should I ask for in a piece of clothing. The fall collection includes trousers and floor lenght skirts that are simply perfect. The mix of black leather and sheer materials is loose fitted, just the way I want them to be. The fashion brand is only three years old, but it’s hard to find any designers that create clothes comparable to the ones they present. What the sisters said about their latest collection was “We wanted to do something low-key and straight to the point” and I have to admit that sometimes one sentence is all that’s needed to describe 19 outfits of classic design. Minimal at it’s best!
