Less is more at Mila Schön. The young and talented fashion designer Bianca Gervasio, who took over in 2008 replacing the late designer known for her simple, modern clothes structured along classical lines, continues her research for a new idea of luxury through a very sophisticated reinterpretation of the maison’s classics.

Rounded lines and exact cuts define an essential silhouette. The sleeves on the short jackets become a little round and a fluid bias draping gives new life to the simple little dress. Precision and minimalism meet asymmetries and optical patterns, while sober tone on tone explodes with fluorescent red, electric blue and acid yellow.

As for the majority of the catwalks in Milan last season, the predominance of daywear doesn’t overshadow evening wear, but rather highlights it. After the mathematic proportions ruling the collection, the delicacy of chiffon dresses and the volume that the fabric creates close this elegant and substantial show.
