Mazda RX9 Turbo
According to a recent rumor, the next generation of the RX7 will be the Mazda RX9 which will be a turbo. The Mazda RX9 Turbo will come as soon as 2013 and it will be powered by a turbocharged engine, but its exact details are not known yet. However, what we do know is that the Mazda RX9 turbo will keep the rotary engine that made its predecessors famous.
The Mazda RX9 turbo rumor comes at the same time as the Japanese company prepares itself to end the production of the RX8 next month. The RX8′s carrier is market by a poor fuel economy which is not a positive aspects, especially in the current market conditions. This means that the Mazda RX9 turbo will have to be more fuel efficient in order to keep the sales up.

All but the grill face is pretty much a rehash of concepts going back to the late 60s or early 70′s. And whoever submitted this to NOTCOT, the likelihood of this ever seeing the light of day as an RX is near zero at best.

I love the design concept but not the way the rear wheels, so its not a perfect design for me, Mazda’s designer should work on it.

I realy hope this will reboost the fantastic engine, let it live, at least until the electic motors totaly overtakes the automotive industry…
Alot of revolutions are a head, it is going to be interesting to see where we will going the next 20 years. I often think about what sound my grand children will make when they play with toy cars on the carpet in 30 years from now…… Bzzzzz??
