Lamborghini Sesto Elemento

Here is a four wheeled splendour that is the epitome of European symbiosis. The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is the latest prototype to roll out of the garage of the German Audi’s adopted offspring from Italy; Automobili Lamborghini. It is the newest sports coupé to find itself at the front of an ever changing grid as automobile manufacturers look to defy all norms.

The Sesto Elemento weighs in at a very lean 999 kg; making it the lightest in the super sports car class. Having shed a further 70 kg of its Gallardo LP 560-4, Lamborghini is at the top of the pecking order in terms of light weight machinery; largely thanks to its German parent, Audi. The secret behind this dramatic weight loss is the extensive employment of carbon fibre in all facets of the design. Powered by a 5.2 litre V 10 engine that generates 570 hp, coupled with its feather light weight, the Sesto Elemento reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds with a top speed that surpasses the 300 km/h mark! Those of you who know your automobiles will be thinking ‘F1’!

This geometric beauty was created on a galore of patents. It employs e.gear transmission in race car fashion with minimalist interiors that utilize high tech fabrics. The list of groundbreaking achievements would leave you reading all day! To summarize; the benchmark for super sports cars has just been raised!
