Francesco Scognamiglio F/W 2011 Milan

The woman’s collection for next fall / winter 2011-12 by Francesco Scognamiglio, is inspired by the Rose. The result is perfectly consistent: female and soft, but also sensual and “dangerous “.

Just like a Rose, there are tender flowers and “thorns”.

Beauty is in the mix between the two:

short/mini vs maxi; reassuring fabrics like wool felt, cashmere, wool light vs “libertine” macramé lace, sequins, metal; silhouettes from the 30s refurbished vs leather blouson or quilts that remind motorcyclists, romantic and classic colours such as ivory, beige, icebergs, antique rose vs strong and attractive black, red, gold; sandals vs glittering cuissards.

The Scognamiglio woman has the elegance of a Rose, you will find: femininity, gentleness, and many Swarovski – dew on the petals…obviously!

Focus on:

unexpected silhouette’s style between the 30s and motorcycling glam.
