Sultan F/W 2011 Riga

The fun vibe of picnics hit the catwalks of Riga with freshness when Sultan’s tomboys turn the show in a cheerful walk to the countryside.

The boyfriend’s shirt transforms and evolves into coats and dresses and turns into girly with irony, while clothes made of simple cuts and menswear details trace a comfortable A-line that winks to a retro kind of bohemian chicness.

The colors of fall stain the plaid shirts and the gingham skirts of natural shades of brown, orange, red and green. The dyes made of natural pigments by Jeremy Sultan, the designer himself, are intensified by the patterns and by the texture of fabrics. Wool, linen and cotton, in fact, are processed and finished to look washed and wrinkled or maybe just used, as if they had just been picked up from a flea market.

Easy and young, Sultan’s collection will perfectly fit those metropolitan girls who have a taste for vintage and dress fashionably, but with humor.
