Takeru-san
The Inspideans – denizens of , Malayasia – want to rule the world through animation domination, and judging by the talent they house they might as well. One of their potent weapons - Daryl Toh Liem Zhan’s (a.k.a Takeru-san in webosphere), body of online work caught my attention recently. An animation major by training, his expertise includes – concept art, illustrations, character design, and background design. Takeru-san’s illustrations are clear and concise without being cluttered.
The characters well-defined while titles and dialogues succinct. His houses a healthy dose of humor, satire, romance, murk, fantasy, sci-fi, action, autobiography, innocence, portraits and more! While browsing through his work over the last four years it is evident that the young illustrator has evolved through experiment with his style and feedback from his peers.
Daryl is also onboard the crew of the popular Malaysian TV animation series - Mustang Mama: Die Hard Sports Fan, and Boo & Me. He is the creator of the immensely popular webcomic - Dreamwalker Chronicles, which isn’t a Naruto but is a definite indicator of the promise this young lad holds. Expect great things!
