We know that as a child you were fasicanted by Monet. Did you taste change a lot in this perspective? Which is your favourite artist now? Any contemporary phtographer you admire/appreciate?
My taste did not change, it just grow up It discovered more and It admire also others artists very different form each other, but I still loving the MONET'S art, and the light that he created.
One of my favorites now in art is FREUD. In photography I love David Sims, I really admire his point of to view of fashion the stories he creates, in the meantime is stocked always in my mind the work of Helmunt Newton and Rodchenko.
Moving to another country has been one of the turining ponts in your careerd until now. We all know Paris is one of Europe s fashion capiatls and a very crative city. Any other personal reasons you had for choosing it?
One of the reasons to move to Paris was that I felt very interested in the art and the culture of this city, Paris is Paris.
Paris is history is art is cinema is fashion is food is science; as a young boy I’d love to be in NY sometimes but I think Paris got a special plus, is a hard city, very difficult to deal with people in business but if you do good here you can easily be good anywhere.
What other place would you enjoy working in?
New york, I would love to work there, I think is a wonderful city.
Do you have any paticular model you would like to photograph?
I would love to work with Edita Vilkeviciute
What kind of camera do you use?
I use to work with a Canon digital camera of 35 mm, and with Phase One medium format.
Nowadys that almost everybody owns a performat digital cameras and so many people claim to capture art, waht do you think about the old fashion filme cameras?
I really love the old fashion film cameras, you can have an excellent wonderful work with , more organic and more artistic, but the process of work is too slow and now everybody want to see quickly the result of the job.
Anyway with the digital cameras you can have a great work, and I really think that the best have to come ...
