Aurora by Marte Undereidet

Aurora is a chair, but her name anticipates the sensation that this piece of design conveys –peace.

The designer is Marte Undereidet, a Norwegian designer transplanted to Denmark to follow her passion for design. In fact, she graduated this year from Kolding School of Design, a Danish institution always looking for students with talent and potential.

The nature is her inspiration, here you can understand the reason of the unconventional materials used. Materials such as fish skin, sealskin and knit. Even without touching it you can feel the comfort and the pleasant sensation of a chair that envelops you and rocks you. Even the chosen colours seem to advocate the relax and the quietness of the nature.

The project is a probe of how the designer is able to instigate an emotional reaction with the user by deliberately using specific effects, and we can say she did it.
