Dimitri Bez

Currently student at the prestigious ENSAAMA in Paris, Dimitri Bez is a French designer specialized in car design, but working also in the field of 3D animation and product design. Among his most recent successes, the positive participation in the 8th edition of the car design competition created by the French magazine L’Argus with the project Sun, a solar vehicle, and the current involvement in the project IAU 2011, about futuristic visions of public space.

By looking at his website and browsing his projects, you can instantly perceive his versatility, but, above all, his natural talent for car design. ”Calabrone”, is one of his car concept, a two seater sport car, with an aggressive streamlined shape, capable of being a perfect blend of technology and retro style, but preserving an undeniable futuristic edge. Its key feature is the absence of doors, which highlights its rebel spirit, but it also enhances its safety and performance.

Another innovative concept is Dark, a black car that seems coming out from a sci-fi movie. Its sleek shape together with its performance is able to satisfy what the designer defines as the darkness of the human soul, the forbidden desire for speed. But also coming to product design and looking to the prototype of a cellphone named Easy, especially thought for seniors, we realize the ability of the designer to summarize in a product a cool design, intuitiveness of use and a lovely user interface.
