The truth right here. This is what you think looking at SIT art works.  SIT is a well-established part of the creative scene in Amsterdam. After making his mark doing action painting, graphic design and advertising, his current focus is now street art. He decided to go back to basics on a quest for his true essence, leaving behind the standardization to ‘commercial creativity’. Taking a look at his works, the leitmotiv seems to be the animals.

With his latest series ‘Noir’, he rediscovered the beauty of black and white, exploring the hassle relation between the animal kingdom and the mankind. ‘Noir’ is the perfect expression of the magnificent beauty of the beast and the way it is used to fulfill the inborn human vanity. He used textures such as fur and feathers, fabrics that are juxtaposed with pale animal skulls and soft female curves – representing the perverse ‘need’ to strip animals of their skins, and exposing the dismaying reality of the suffering and extinction of species to satisfy human egotism.
