Viktoria Stutz

Viktoria Stutz is a young photographer based in Dortmund, Germany, who is currently studying at the University Of Applied Sciences And Arts. She specializes in beauty and fashion photography and is already displaying great talent. Stutz started photographing since young age, inspired by her mother that used to snap a lot when she was a kid. But the true start was when she turned eighteen and bought her first DSLR and began to photography everything around her. Now she is doing mostly beauty stuff because, as she said, she is in love “with the change makeup can do with the face and body”. In fact, this kind of photography captures only a small part of the model and is very close to it, so you are more into feeling and emotions.

In most of her pictures she portrays women with provocative makeup, highlighted by fluo colors that make the shot look extremely original. Victoria Stutz’s beauty images and close-ups are incredible. It will be interesting if more magazines would feature imagery like this, rather than the dull, pretty faces we usually see in glossy magazines. Stutz photographs are not just plain, but real work of art. She creates magic, capturing the essence of women mixing the classic with the exasperated. Considering that creating fashion and beauty imagery is not only a question of having a great photographer, but also to have the right team, it is sort of compulsory to congratulate the two great makeup artists that Stutz works with, namely Julia Sieckmann and Julia Heiermann.
