Dianela Uhlig
is a German artist, born in Friedrichshain but currently based in Berlin where she is working as a character designer for a small game company. She also exhibits her personal paintings in an art gallery in Berlin. Her personal interests are to “paint, draw, drink coffee, sleep, watch series, friends, eat, eat, eat, smoke”: she definitely is conveying the image of a normal young adult.
Her paintings and her style show a lot of realism. Her reproductions are sometimes funny, sometimes “osés”, sometimes strange. She has also done some reproductions of famous paintings in her own style (Klimt) or of famous ads (Got Milk?). She also knows how to handle and play with bright colors. What is really amazing about her is that she can makes us laugh, cry, feel uncomfortable…and this is talent.
