Si Scott
The leading UK illustrator has used his skills to develop a distinctive style which combines hand-inked and penned artwork with modern typography.
His unique hand-drawn design and illustration combine modern and traditional influences and are always distinctive and beautiful in character. Si prides himself on an almost obsessive attention to detail and creating the highest calibre of work possible for the studio’s clients, exhibitions and projects.
Originally from Leeds, Scott left school at the age of 16 to attend Leeds College of Art & Design where he now is a part-time lecturer. Then, moving to London he continued his studies at the Buckinghamshire Chilterns University.
What inspired Si to choose daring path of an artist was a little piece of advice that his father once gave him– why work for somebody else when you can work for yourself. Upon completion of his degree in Graphic Design Si stayed in London for another 3 years and worked for a number of different small design agencies whilst continuing with his own work and freelance project on the side.
The prestigious and self expanding list of the artist’s clients includes Hugo Boss, Nike, Gap, Diesel, Vogue, MTV, Volvo, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Tiffany & Co, Coca-Cola and Harrods.
Si regularly exhibits and lectures around the world, places such as Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, Norway and New York amongst others. He has also judged many award competitions including the D&AD awards.
