Turkish Airlines CIP lounge

Exploring the new Turkish airlines CIP lounge it’s like becoming kids: each global form divides the structure in many sections that undertake different functions that people have to discover: the design idea that was developed here was to create a second shelf in the airport, in a myriad of circle lines like the shell’s interior.
Autoban considers each interior project as a story to be told: It might not be new but it is also not old: they enjoy mixing the traditional with the contemporary creating spaces out of time with a unique style and approach.
The pursuit of new materials here comes back in time again: they are not creative for the furniture itself or for the futuristic design, but because of the combination of natural and raw materials in new contests: their first examples of furniture designs were made in plywood and gave way to experiment.
This lounge area is well decorated by black channels that, other than allow mechanical and electrical systems, balance the visual aspect of the modules.
Moreover each detail reflects both designers’ quirky approach to “almost cliché” items: these items are highly inspired by the nature and the rituals of everyday life: emotionally meaningful, they involve you in a daydream… this is the course Autoban is charting right now.
