Michal Lisowski

By looking Michal Lisowski’s work we get a whole new idea of conceptual art. The in Iazy Town, Poland born artist manages with his illustrations and digital paintings to not only show the viewer a simple picture but transmit emotions, feelings and the whole concept of an idea, as the name already suggests.
Currently the 29-year old is working for Orka Film Studio located in Warsaw and it is easy to spot that the variety of his work is impressive, as he does not stick to one type of illustration.

By looking at his blog there is basically a picture for every taste as he shows us superheroes, anatomic sketches as well as futuristic landscapes. So no surprise he already worked on projects for well-known clients like Disney, Ubisoft or MTV. The fascinating thing about Michal Lisowski work is that they seem to have a certain gravity, which makes the viewer examine every little detail about it and loose himself in the picture.
