Wilmer T by Stefan Borselius

The ultimate solution for anybody’s multitasking needs comes from the studio of Swedish furniture and interior designer Stefan Borselius, and is called the Wilmer T chair.

Well known for his tenacious ambition of finding new solutions to old problems and for developing products that perfectly fit into the way we live our hectic lives today, Borselius has now improved how we spend our time seated in a chair. With two solid ash tabletops attached to its sides at different height levels, the Wilmer T produces a multifunctional platform ideal for potentially anything.

Inspired by day-to-day life, Wilmer T’s uncomplicated concept of reorganization of our work/play space brings the definition of multitasking to a new level.

The extremely reduced space it occupies, compared to the one of a regular table surface, adds even more value to the simple convenience of performing multiple tasks; as for example, being able to surf the Internet from a computer and keep extra documents also at hand.

Considering even the smallest details as an integral and important part of the design, both the table and the seat are swivel-based, allowing for even greater degrees of comfort and flexibility. From its creator’s interest in new materials and an open mind towards both traditional handicraft and modern industrial processes, the chair features an easy yet cool design, with a frame in green chrome or black lacquered steel, cushions of moulded polyurethane foam and covers of fabric and leather.
