Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
6.3 liters V12, 740HP, 3.1s 0-100 km/h. For sport cars aficionados, this would be enough. For all the others, let’s just say it’s the fastest Ferrari ever. This incredible creation will be shown for the first time in March at the annual Salon de Geneve in Switzerland. Born through the collaboration between Maranello engineers, designers and the Formula 1 drivers, the F12 Berlinetta is an extraordinary high performance car. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and up to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds. This makes it the most powerful Ferrari ever built.
The fusion of Pininfarina genius and ‘Centro Stile Ferrari’ puts the new Berlinetta on a new level in terms of design. It in fact combines classical elements of the Ferrari style, like the big front cowl, with fundamental innovations like the daylight LED optical groups or the three-part diffuser inspired by the Formula 1 design. The impressive use of aluminum makes the car not only more rigid and therefore safer, but also lighter and very compact. Following Leonardo’s motto ‘simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’, the Ferrari team created a new minimalistic design for the interiors. Mixing organic leather and carbon, they moved all the controls in front of the driver with a fresher and simpler result. Maranello, with the F12, continued on the path of ‘green propulsion’, already taken with the Ferrari California.
Working with the best technological partners in the world, the F12 incorporates the most innovative and pioneering solutions, taking down the CO2 emission by 30%. It’s gorgeous and even faster than the 458, already defined ‘absolutely, unbelievably, mesmorizingly brilliant’ and ‘beyond everything’ by Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson. What to say then, we just can’t wait to hear its roar.
