Yasya Minochkina FW 2012
For her first appearance on the catwalk of Kiev Fashion Days, Yasya Minochkina designed a collection inspired to light and colours. From her prism to the catwalk, we discerned pastel colours, milky white, icy blue, fiery red, copper brown, graphite, pale pink and deep black, for a simple and basic catwalk – sporty in some of the outfits.
The silhouette is classic and narrow, the lines are clean and the cut is sculptural in most of the little-clear-dresses: rethinking the 50’s, the designer draws her inspiration from the rounded shape of the lamp to create flared skirts and light weights with accented shoulders, for an aristocratic and minimalistic elegance.
Inflated shapes, rounded buttons, sloping raised shoulders embodied in a concise and comfortable clothing: for the next season, Yasya Minochkina’s femininity is sporty and bold.
