Charline de Luca might just be the next big thing in the women’s footwear industry.  Her initial dream was to become an architect. She earned her degree at the New York Institute of Technology only to discover that her greatest passion is the world of high-end fashion. Having worked with prominent Italian brand Fendi, De Luca made her way into the fabulous mondo della moda. Now, with the coveted title of “Who’s on next” finalist and the opportunity to exhibit her debut collection at the AltaRomAltaModa event, her future seems even brighter.

The Roman-born designer describes her personal style as “Architectonic, pure, rigorous, balanced with a touch of femininity” and her debut collection corresponds with that. While boldly playing with shapes, structures and geometry, De Luca keeps it safe with colors, mainly focusing on blacks and nudes. The result is a statement shoe that is modern and wearable.
