When you go through Dave Neale portfolio, on his minimal yet classy website, you start feeling something inside. You get the feeling like the first time you watched Monsters Inc.. Personally, I was ten years old, and those monsters seemed pretty darn cute to me – and drawing strange monsters is what Dave Neale does in his spare time.

Graduated from the University of Lincoln, he now lives and works in London as a freelance artist. The quality of his works is shown by the level of his professional clients: EA Games, BBC, Disney and Nokia amongst others. The variety of the work coming out of being a freelance designers is what fascinates him to the core. Although it’s quite arduous to find any information of the artist, you can easily find and recognize his works in a glance. The lines of his drawings are always soft, often cartoon-alike. As mentioned above, he concentrates on designing monsters, but he also designs environments, which look like they came straight out of a video-game, and colorful, yet serious comic characters.
