Vilner Custom Bike BMW F 800 R Predator

If you already possess one of the biggest and most extensive collections of motorbikes in Bulgaria and you want something unique in terms of design, why not modify a mass-produced model according to your wishes?

That is exactly what a Russian businessman based in Bulgaria did as he was not satisfied with some of the details of BMW’s F800 R Bavarian model. In only six months, three specialists of Vilner, a Russian company that actually won worldwide recognition as a titular in vehicle interior design, developed the new design, worked out the details, assembled and tested their handmade work for the creation of the Vilner Custom Bike F800 R Predator.

While the engine and chassis have not been modified (the base model is equipped with a 798-cubic four-cycle engine, 87 hp and a six-level gear-box and can reach a maximum speed of 200 km/h with a weight of 177 kg), the aesthetics of the revised edition have been enhanced dramatically. 17 completely new details were made – 9 of carbon and 8 chromium-plated, making the Predator look even more aggressive, athletic and sporty than its base model. The bike was shorted by whole 25cm and thus transforming it from a two-seated into a single seated-one, replacing the old seat with a wider more comfortable one. Design wise the most remarkable feature of the Predator is arguably the remade headlight, which uses bi-xenon with red LED lights, making it look definitely more dangerous than the original version.  The blinkers were taken form a BMW Z4 (yes, the car) and built in the carbon. The rear tier is wider and the other grey elements of the mass produced type are colored in black. To ensure that the enhanced edition of the sports bike also sounds worthily, the exhaust pipe is a new, handmade model by BG Partner Company, giving it a furious, rotund roar. Final touches and details include hand stitching on the saddle as well a subtle “Predator” labeling to definitely set it apart from the “average” BMW motorbike.

So this unique piece rendered in carbon fiber composite and chrome is the outcome of the collaboration between a wealthy, hard-to-please businessman and a vehicle Design Company – tasteful and intimidating. Too bad we will only enjoy it on pictures!
