CERV concept bike

The CERV concept bike was conceived from the desire of Cannondale to present a new bike full of cutting edge technology at Eurobike in Germany. The concept of CERV, a fork-less, chain-less and dynamically adjustable bike did not disappoint expectations.

The development of the concept was done by Priority Design, an American-based design consultancy, that has already worked with companies such as Electrolux and Motorola. Priority Design achieved the difficult challenge to transform into reality this amazing concept exploring different mechanical solutions.

Central to the CERV is the system that allows the seat to automatically adjust to the terrain. The bike, in fact, features a dynamically adjustable headset that moves both fore-and-aft and up-and-down and it does that without altering the seat-to-crank height. This system allows the rider to always have the optimal position considering the terrain.

The result is a stunning bike, with a concentrate of technological features and with a simple and sleek design, with modern and streamlined lines, that emphasize even more its uniqueness.
