Lamborghini Perdigon by Ondrej Jirec

What happens if the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento meets the polygonal designs of the Batmobile of Nolan’s movies? Ondrej Jirec, student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, seems to have an answer. A genius one as a matter of fact.

It’s called the Lamborghini Perdigon: it will never go even close to a production line, but it’s damn fascinating. The young designer modestly tells us ” it’s an extreme project, at the boarder of entertainment design ”. We believe otherwise: this is one of the most amazing designs yet. It’s not about beauty, it’s about the expression of aggressiveness and power. Deliberately taking inspiration from Liebskind’s style, this design features polygonal, sharp surfaces. The big glass top gives the passenger a jet-fighter kind of feeling, while the interior is kept raw and functional, with focus on the central console. Colors used are shades of grey and a splash of the Lambo’s signature orange here and there.
Thought as a Bugatti Veyron competitor, this car, in terms of design is way more. A fusion between previous Lamborghini models and a return to futurism style where broken lines were dominant. It may never hit the roads, but if the Bull-ish carmakers want to enter this new market, well, they know who to call to design it.
