Basic Armchair by Lagranja

A very essential structure, a warm and cozy look, one armchair. No better name than Basic Armchair to express the simplicity behind the concept of this first newborn in the Lagranja house. The Barcelona-based design firm is in fact debuting in the Spanish market with this minimal piece of furniture, especially designed for the Chic & Basic Hotel lobby.
Like all brilliant ideas, this too was born as a solution under limiting circumstances. Lagranja architects, in completing the furnishing process of the Hotel, could not find the ideal kind of armchair that could fit both their taste and their budget. This resulted in the decision of designing one themselves, a product which perfectly reflects their practical needs.

The frame of the chair is composed of solid beech wood, polished with a special water varnish that confers to it a great matte look. The upholstered seat covered in fabric or leather of the most diverse patterns, appears to be absolutely comfortable and classical, never to have been produced with constrained resources. Clients can fully personalize the style of the chair, an original yet gentle reinterpretation of the Danish minimal archetype through a warm touch of the Mediterranean sunny lands.
