Sanan Gasanov Aurora Fashion Week AW 2013

Sanan Gasanov’s austerity for the next cold season well reflects the mix between a certain modern St Petersburg aura and the traditional popular costume.

Almost severe, the collection presented under the spotlight of Aurora Fashion Week is the third of a designer that looks for inspiration travelling between East and West and thinking about the rigor and simplicity, at the limit with asexuality, of a Tilda Swinton kind of woman.

Not just for girls, the collection presents male outfits as well, drawing the picture of a nonchalant men with a casual and almost unenthusiastic attitude.

Accent on the fabrics used for the garments: only natural products, that have often undergone treatments: jacquard turned into silver, cotton into emerald and leather in metals, by this outstanding designer with a care for sartorial details and a fresh approach to lines.
