One of the oldest Art schools in Baltic region. 1793 in High School of Grand Duchy of Lithuania (1579-1781 known as the Vilnius Academy) was established the Department of Architecture, which was led by the professor Laurynas Gucevičius, one of the most well-known lithuanian architects and classicism representatives.

 

Our school qualify specialists of  three levels  BA MA and PHD in all spheres of arts: Design, architecture, visual arts and humanitarian sciences. Faculties of Academy are settled in biggest towns of Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Telšiai.

 

During the last 20 years of State Independence the Academy cherishes old traditions, seeks to reorganize, adapt to European and world schools. VAA is taking a part at international school associations such as KUNO, CUMULUS, CIRRUS and ELIAS.
