The dishcloth is cylindrical and made of microfibre with an absorbent foam core.
The material makes the cloth regain its shape after use – and thereby stand upright without being supported. The cloth comes with an elegant stand in matt polished stainless steel on which the cloth can sit when it is not in use.

A functional set of kitchen utensils consisting of a stirring ladle, a flexible spatula, a draining spoon, a serving spoon and a whisk. Placed in the holder of aluminium and plastics the utensils form a harmonic whole.

The utensils are made in nylon and will stand max. 220°C/430°F.
They are gentle no your cookware and accordingly well fitted for use in casseroles and pans with non-stick coating.
The tool set is dishwasher-safe. The holder is to be cleaned manually.

The lid on this waste bin balances as gracefully as a tightrope walker on the edge ofthe bin.
You can open the lid from al sides by gently lifting the edge, after which it remains open by itself. All the lid then needs is a little push to close it.
It looks great it is highly innovative and it is ingeniously simple.

The bin liner ls easy to fit, easy to fill and easy to replace. The bin liner holder consists of a rubber-coated metal ring.

After you have folded the bin liner around the ring, you allow the ring to fal into place in the bin’s opening.This way the ring supports the bag in an easy and straightforward way. You avoid all the bother of waste outside the bag or hinges and fixtures which are awkward to clean.

Cognac glass

The Cognac glass is a beautiful combination of function and pure pleasure. It’s a glass conceived to considerate bouquet, temperature and volume. It provokes pleasure and increases the experience of intimacy, when drinking cognac.

The concern to quality of cognac resulted in the shape of the glass, which increases the pleasure of deep colour and movement of the liquid.

Rikke Hagen explains
I wanted the glass to give the user a feeling of a gentleman’s study and at the same time, the sense of calmness you get when you e.g. fondle a stone. The stem kept irritating me. I took the consequence and cut it off.
That’s how my Cognac glass was born

Rikke Hagen

Rikke Hagen’s background is in product design, glass and ceramics. She graduated from Danmark Designskole in 1998.
From 1998 to 2008 Rikke Hagen has owned a unique glass workshop, where she has produced her own limited editions in glass.

In 2004, as the demend for Rikke Hagen’s product design continued rising.
Rikke took the first steps towards establishing her design studio copen hagen.
Under the copen hagen name, Rikke Hagen develops her own designs and works with product development for companies such ad Normann Copenhagen and Holmegaard.

Today Rikke Hagen focuses on the design process. From idea generation and concept building to the finished product. In the 2008 copen hagen presented its first product line at the Maison de object fair in Paris

For the sake of user comfort, the broom and the dustpan have handles measuring 85 cm and 90 cm, respectively ,which means you do not need to bend down to sweep dust of the floor into the dustpan.
The broom is designed with a rounded head with no sharp edges. and long, strong plastic bristles. The handle of the brush is hollow, so after use it slides down over the dustpan handle. This means it takes up less space while also adding a touch of elegance to the kitchen.

Majorca

An oil dressing set, is a homage to a traditional design in Mallorca. The anti-spill-drop top is the reminiscence of the traditional Balearic design from the XVIII century. She designed the bottle which is mouth blown by a glass craftsman and the bottle’s support is hand made in ceramic.

Giovanna de Avila

Giovanna de Avila was born in Barranquila, Colombia. It was her love for design that brought her to Barcelona.

There, she learned the importance to respect crafts reminiscence, technical tradition and the relationship between funcional products and form.

She decided to collaborate since then with craftmen in her productions.

Her thesis supervised by the catalan designer Joan Sunyol who years afterwards became a work partner and co-designer in some of her designs.

The development of Giovanna de Avila has been based on a very clear idea: to design beautiful objects, made for use. A straightforward principle, a diaphanus declaration of intentions that become truth by merging perception, passion and respect for craft traditions. She believes there is an emotion in every object and that emotion is transferred through form. She is interested in searching beauty in objects rather than innovating.
