The two companies “United Nude” and “3D Systems” combined for a major new exhibition, this time at the prestigious Level Shoe District: the largest shoe department in the largest shopping mall in the world ‘The Dubai Mall’.
The company has designed “Coral Shoes” to be printed on the 3D Systems CubePro: the all-new professional desktop 3D printer from company “3D Systems”. The shoe consists of a 3D printed wedge with sculptural holes through its side, a small 3D printed buckle and a textile ribbon to attach to the foot. The upper of the 3D printed shoes can be made with any kind of textile ribbon and color.
The Coral 3D printed shoes were designed for Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience at Level Shoe District. Known for clarity, elegance and innovation, a designer and founder of “United Nude” is Rem D Koolhaas, together with his business partner, a co-founder Galahad Clark.
In 2003, the brand launched the “Möbius” shoe“, which since then has been recognized as a design-classic and the brand became the leader in architectural footwear.
United Nude shoes are sold in over 40 countries, with flagship stores in Amsterdam, London and New York.
