A spectacular show has been organized by an Italian luxury fashion house Fendi recently. There were presented many looks of Haute Couture that impressed everybody with its lightness, weightlessness and perfection.
Karl Legerfeld called the show ‘Legends and Fairy Tales’ and admitted that he was inspired by the book of fairy tales ‘ East of the Sun and West of the Moon’ by the Danish artist Kay Nielsen. He also mentions that ‘it is a collection that doesn’t relate to everybody like ready-to-wear, this is very special for people who have a special kind of life’.
Haute Couture by Fendi brings to our attention 46 incredible looks, where fur is the most important design element. For example, the lynx jacket dyed a delicate shadow of pink or crocheted dresses on a base of tulle that were embroidered with swatches of long hair mink and fringed leather – all looks have some fur elements, which is a usual thing for Fendi.
Fall 2016 Couture by Fendi is a majestic show, where luxury house proves once again that they are able to make fur look easy and elegant. “This is what Fendi is all about. No other fur house in the world does it, or could do it,” Lagerfeld says in an interview.
