Punk rock. Its icons. Its  fashion. During the Riga Fashion Week, in the Tale Concept Store, the untamed Italian designer,  Liborio Capizzi presented his S/S 2016 ready-to-wear collection called “Brief Apocalypse”.

In the S/S 2016 collection the Italian fashion brand “Di Liborio” combines the elegance of couture and the anarcho-punk soul, showing a transformation of endless research that carries the great memories of the spirit of rock. The key of the collection is the Liborio’s vision — punk rock times of 70’s in London when punk fashion was a great deal. In 1970’s punk rock was an intentional rebuttal of the perceived excess and early punk-rock artists’ fashion was a radical and crucial freedom of choice.

The collection by this Italian fashion brand has “all-black militaristic” notes and its performance reminded the great times of the punk rock band’s “Crass” underground parties. Fishnet, leather accessories, neck bands, motorcycle boots, metal necklaces and heavy eyeliner worn by both men and women — the details that emphasize well the punk rock at the same time  keep a touch of couture elegance, using a variety of patinas, textures, lengths and widths.

This collection is the punk soul’s rebirth with the shadow of couture aura — an undiscovered extraordinary beauty and the true memories of punk rock times in an elegant manner. Liborio has been the strictest collaborator of Gianfranco Ferré for sixteen years, managing the brand’s prêt-à-porter for women while evolving his couturier sensitivity.
