The design of Danish Ivan Grundahl displayed elements of avantgarde, Grunge references and 2015 city vibes. With his AW15 interpretation Grundahl took up a considerable amount of catwalk space with his collection of large garments and shapes. A restricted colour range of mainly black, white, and red was countered by the asymmetrical cuts and large showpieces communicating a certain kind of liberty coming from within.
The Nordic references in the Grundahl look rest with the unpolished impression rather than with irrelevant, false claims of modesty.
Although Grundahl is easily recognizable and true to his long-term companions, he is still able to attract a younger crowd longing to break free of any conventional fashion chains.
