A fashion collection that results harmonious and well-balanced in volumes

‘The regulating line is a satisfaction of a spiritual order which leads to the pursuit of ingenious and harmonious relations’ said Le Corbusier in 1946.

More than 50 years later Lidia Demidova, a student of the St. Petersburg Industrial Art Academy, couldn’t agree more.

The fashion collection presented at Aurora Fashion Week adapts Le Corbusier principles and semantics to fashion and more specifically to a collection that results harmonious and well-balanced in volumes.

The main idea behind the ensemble was to combine fabric handle and interesting shapes. A minimalist admirer, the fashion designer’s intent is to use clear lines without needless details; a modern sobriety that finds in a dark color palette its natural expression.

Lidia Demidova finds her inspiration in art: Mark Rothko and Lucio Fontana’s pictures inspired her next Winter fashion collection, that coherently combines geometrical configuration and constructibility.
