A living space can be deeply transformed even only with the smart choice of a pendant lamp. The German based design firm KDID well played with this interior design complement. Its recent release, the Pirouet Lamp, winner at the 2015 Red Dot Design Award, plays as a chameleon, with a shape that can be transformed and adapted to the owner’s aesthetic preferences.
This modern round pendant lamp marries modernity with simplicity: the adjustable luminaire is pure delight, making this lamp a smart toy to play with by changing the shape and adapting the appearance to the surrounding environment and own feelings, switching from a bright atmosphere to a quiet and relaxing ambience.
The delightful game of light and shadow is created by the smart activation of lens aperture through the lever on top, which is used to regulate the distance between the plastic panels, and therefore the lighting intensity, together with the shape itself.
To guarantee the best performance to this object, vaguely recalling a pendant lamp, thanks to the soft and morbid hanger, and the round shape of the structure, the manufacturers picked up long lasting materials, coupled with an efficient lighting system coming from LED modul.
