Lepke is a quite unique Hungarian furniture brand, designed by David Szabo.
The design of Lepke is inspired by its own name, which means butterfly, and so it recalls the magnificent process of a butterfly metamorphosis.
This metamorphosis results in the philosophy of the brand that stands in the possibility for users to interact with the objects and transform them according to their needs. Lepke, actually, offers to its clients the chance of “creating a shaped coffee table by our hands in a easy way from the simple wood elements. We can also decide the characteristics of the object so we can be a designer within certain limits”.
Lepke formable table is made of wooden slats where each slat is rotatable at the edges of the board. Turning these legs with one simple movement, you can create every time a unique form of table.
Lepke comes in different colour combinations: natural, 2face – coloured + natural, and dark side – black.
