Sometimes a simple movement can change our perspective. Turning things upside down or inside out for instance, can reveal what is usually hidden under their façade.
The concept of the Hafucha metal table series takes the lead from this conviction and relocates the usually unseen constructional elements as front elements of the design language. The Hafucha series by Bakery Design Studio was inspired by the sculptures of the American artist Alexander Calder, both in the material – steel, and in the deconstructed shape. Exploring new design solutions by using production methods as preeminent details, allows a strong visual impact yet fully functional.
The metal table series comes in three shapes: round, squared and x-shaped. The production is unlimited but every metal table is signed and numbered on the bottom.
