Fresh off the Muuuz International Award and the German Design Award for the category “Excellent Product Design – Lighting” the collection of Tilt lamps by the German design firm Nyta.
Founded by three German lighting designers sharing an uncompromising passion for their job, Nyta has made the balance between aesthetic pleasure and real substance its basic mantra. Tilt recollects all these elements, confounding search for sophisticated materials with shaping linearity.
This lamp has been conceived so as to be adjustable, in order to let it emanate an open and soft light, converging the ray just where it is needed, like the stage of a theater. The easiness of usage, coupled with the intuitive handling, allows to turn, crunch and swivel the shade along its oblong opening in every direction, just like a cupped reflector that you can point on any surface you want.
The elegant metal shade, together with the cloth-covered cord, contributes with minimal elegance, smart counterbalance to a well noticeable structure that will catch the attention for sure. Last but not least, the self-fastening hanging mechanism cleanly holds the lamp in a fixed position.
