Piquadro announces the signature of an agreement with Antonio Marras for the creation of a capsule collection that will be presented in January 2013.

Milan, 7 September 2012 – The magnetic attraction of opposites. This is the force that has led Marco Palmieri, Chairman and founder of Piquadro, and Antonio Marras to launch themselves in the stimulating challenge of a collaboration that will result in the creation of Piquadro’s first capsule collection, a mini-line of bags signed by Antonio Marras, to be presented in January 2013 at the Settimana della Moda maschile.

The Italian brand Piquadro, inspired by values of technology and design, recognizable for the originality and elegance of its sober, clean style, has chosen one of the most capricious and creative Italian stylists, known on the international scene for his floral interpretations, his ethnic vein, his art of colour combinations and the oneiric dimension of his creations.

The choice of Antonio Marras as the creator of our first capsule collection is certainly surprising”, declares Marco Palmieri, Chairman and CEO of Piquadro. “In reality it was completely logical because we share with Marras a love for the quality and craftsmanship of Italian handmade items, a taste for colour and details and, above all, a passion for creativity, a difficult value to implement in a business product like ours.
